Why Events?

Social: Going to an Event by yourself might be nerve wracking, what could this look like when you meet others on Carpoolin going to the same Event?

Shared interests: Oh, you like sports too?! We should hang out.
No matter what you're into, we're hoping the shared interests you have with others means -- that you can connect through them.

Reduced Chaos: We've all been to conferences, sports events and gigs. A lot of the chaos of even getting there is enough to put some peope off.

How do Events work?

Events are a way to coordinate transport to an Event you're putting together.
On top of reducing cars and parking demands your guests can connect on the way there.
Bringing a more meaningful experice to everyone involved.

Can anyone create an Event?

Yes, if you have an account you can create an Event.
Events however are coupled with Groups, so you need a Group in order to create an event for it.
I hope that isn't too confusing..

How do I go about Sharing an Event

Sharing Events and Groups is supported through the App.

One thing to keep in mind is you'll need to use the Carpoolin QR code scanner and not your Phones camera.

Is there a cost to creating an Event?

Yes, Events are $10/per event.
