The concept of free Trips is confusing for some.

Paying for a Taxi or service is the world we're familiar with, but what does ridesharing look like for me?

There are so many scenarios that could exist.

Which is why we're happy to say;
Carpoolin doesn't take any commission on Trips.

We untimately want people to come together and to have a discussion about renumeration.
Typically these are Passengers giving gas/parking money to the Driver.

Because there is so much variance in how Trips can be coordinated, we don't want to perscribe anything.

What does ridesharing to work look like with a co-worker?
Could we drive alternative days? I was going to be driving anyway, maybe lunch or a coffee is sufficient?

We study together, and I know they'd appreciate the lift in, plus it's on the way anyway!

I'm really looking forward to this sporting event, and how cool is it that I'm going to meet another Blues fans to share the experience with.

Whatever the scenario, having that discussion together should get you both on the same page.

So the platform is free, how do you make money?

We're working to have clients in private business and government sectors. As well as larger venues.

What makes Carpoolin different?

We're trying to build a carpooling platform for the people of New Zealand and not niche long distance travel (which is great too).
Ultimately we want to build a safe and robust place for Kiwis to find better transport alternatives for their needs.

How do Subscriptions work?

Currently they're viewed like donations towards us.
We're looking to expand on this towards the end of the year.

I represent an NGO, can we do anything together?

We can and will help all NGO's and champions in conservation and sustainability with our Platform.
